Early Activities :
First public showing at age fifteen . While in high school
won a number of awards, including a scholarship to study at The School of The Art Institute
of Chicago.
While in college won awards for ceramics , drawing and printmaking .
Participated in the Student Show at the Flint Institute of art .
Directed an Art "Happening" for Public Television in Flint Michigan.
At Northern Michigan University had a film represent the school in a show at the Grand Rapids Art Institute.
In the early 1970's had two one man shows, one was an open air three day show in Holly Michigan and the other was
at the Flint Public Library, in Flint Michigan.
Was represented in Galleries in Harvey Illinois and Brighton Michigan.
Was a founding member of the Holly Fine Arts Council as well
as a director of many early exhibits in the Holly area.
In the mid-1970's formed a company called "Brody Art Products", which made experimental
Acrylic paints (used in many of my paintings at that time).
Did commercial art work for a land developer (artist rendering of future projects)
Won several awards at local exhibits during these early years.
Taught an Art Appreciation Class in a summer government program.
Misc. Activities : Work exhibited in Galleries in Pontiac and Holly Michigan,
Private instructor of painting, cartooning and multimedia to both children and adults .
.Art Train : Holly Michigan, October 12 1996, displayed and demonstrated.
Was represented by the McGarth Dunham Gallery in Castine Maine for the 1999 season.
Was in special Exhibit in Holly to raise money for Holly Depot restoration project.Painting was donated and sold

Selected to act as one of 4 Board Of Governors for the Signature Artist's Guild of the National Oil and Acrylic
Painters Society.

A guest speaker at elementary and middle schools in Holly, Linden and Pontiac Michigan
Has paintings in a book titled" In Drought Time: Scenes From Rural and Small Town life".
It is a book of poems and paintings
Appeared in the issue of "Acrylic Highlights" published by American Artist Magazine
Was the 2005 recipient of the The National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society's
President's Award
in conjunction with this award A painting of his will be the grand prize in NOAPS annual raffle
Produced a Limited edition Print for Warwick Hills Golf Course
